Gotchas getting a new window installed on a new wall which nobody told you about

So, I am having a nightmare getting my window installed on a wall where there was nothing before through Pella Windows.

Their prices are very good, but clearly unless you know about the new window process yourself or you are replacing an existing window, you may not get the window actually installed on the scheduled date — and…
