As it is almost impossible to find out how to upgrade the firmware on this online, I decided to publish how to do this. This is an important piece of information because this is the cheapest MQA DAC which can fully decode Tidal Masters. Perhaps, this can fix the Tidal garbage fires you are facing everyday even with offline files (I can’t verify that because I have already migrated to Qobuz).
This is the only reference I found online. But note, these are old steps for old firmware:
