[Solved] How to successfully deal with stomach issues during a long-haul flight (finally)
I suffer immensely during long-haul flights with a constant urge to use the toilet if I eat anything immediately before or during the flight, including eating before the connecting flight. I have avoided long-haul flights like the plague since then. I had to travel recently, so I tried something new, and it worked. Here is what I found because others also have to endure this.

My issues started only because I started using a heart medicine as a precautionary measure as per my cardiologist. An unfortunate side-effect is constipation because what causes the heart to slow down, also causing the stomach muscles to slow down causing the food to get retained in the abdomen longer, and the system to struggle to expel it. This can be seen on an x-ray and is a common side effect — it took me more than 5 years to find the right GI doctor who solved the issue.
Considering this problem, now think if your stomach fills up like a balloon constantly during a flight — this is what causes the urge to visit the toilet. I have tried many techniques, and none have worked. So, I will keep it short and tell you what did work:
